Wikis are a good way to comunicate with many people while keeping the group up to date and fully informed on their tasks. I plan on posting teacher/student/parent websites on my wiki and will start searching soon.

I am loving wikis! The presentation last week helped me explanied wikis to my friends most of which are teachers. They are now exited and would like to start a wiki page of their own. I have already created my wikispace, I am looking forward to posting teacher, student work om my wiki. Parents would not be left out they will also have the opportunity to view some of their child's work.

I have never learned about wikis prior to this class, but I do enjoy creating the wiki I am working on. I am not very good with technology (the main reason I wanted to take this course was to learn to use it), so it takes me a little longer than probably most of the class to add things to my wiki. However, I am glad that I am working on one so that when I have a classroom of my own I can incorporate a wiki in my class. I think it is important for children to become familiar with this technology, as they will need to be "technology literate" when they grow-up.

I am so excited to know how to create a wiki! I am also amazed that it is really not that complicated. Wikis are a great communication tool, easy to navigate, and offer a dynamic way to present ideas and material!

It has worked really well for this class (Technology and Instruction)!
